Former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison has made a surprise switch to newly promoted Premier League side Sheffield United.
Morrison had a successful trial period at Chris Wilder’s side before signing on a one year deal for the Blades.
The 26-year-old English midfielder was once regarded as one of the most talented players to come out of Manchester United’s famous academy.
Sir Alex Ferguson rated the youngster highly during his time at United but he was ill-disciplined and ended up getting a move to West Ham.
Morrison’s most recent career adventure was at Swedish side Ostersund, where he made six appearances before failing to get his contract renewed.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for Morrison and the Blades have taken a chance on a player who clearly has huge natural talent.
We wish Morrison luck in the Premier League next season.
