Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be furious with midfielder Jesse Lingard, following a post on Snapchat where the England international was seen boasting about his luxury holiday with teammate Marcus Rashford.
According to the Daily Mail, Solskjaer was left angry at Lingard’s post, which was drawn criticism from fans and pundits alike.
Lingard is set to be issued with a warning from the club, with United’s manager already having previous concerns over the way his players are using social media.
In the video, Lingard is heard swearing several times and his mate Jamal Branker is filmed simulating sex on a bed in a luxurious Miami apartment.

At 26, Lingard should know better than posting this nonsense on social media. Despite it not directly harming anyone, it brings negative publicity to the club when it is completely unnecessary. Lingard was poor last season and must hit the ground running next season in a red shirt or United fans are going to grow even more frustrated with the player.
Former Blackpool manager Ian Holloway was particularly irked by Lingard’s social media antics, even calling for Lingard to be ‘transfer listed’ for disrespecting the club.
Check out Holloway’s rant on TalkSport below:
“It’s unacceptable.” 😡
“I’d transfer list him. This manager and his staff have got to sort this out.” 💥
“For me, there’s no way back.”
“When you’re a pro footballer, you represent your club at every minute.”
