‘Transfer list him’: Ex Premier League manager in spectacular rant over controversial Jesse Lingard post

Ian Holloway has gone on a spectacular rant over Jesse Lingard’s latest Instagram post, suggesting there is now no way back at Old Trafford for the Englishman.

Lingard has come under huge criticism for an Instagram post recently, boasting about his luxurious stay in a Miami hotel with teammate Marcus Rashford.

Holloway, a former Premier League manager for Blackpool, has claimed that Lingard has completely disrespected Man Utd in the video, and that as a football player you should ‘represent your club every minute’.

He goes on to say such behaviour would not have been allowed under manager Sir Alex Ferguson, suggesting United are now in turmoil due to the unacceptable behaviour of several United players.

As Holloway recognises, Lingard is not a young lad any more, and at 27 years old there are no excuses for Lingard showing off his summer vacation. Lingard has been criticised heavily in past months for his social media antics but he has certainly overstepped the mark here.

Lingard had been poor towards the end of last season and United fans should not have to witness the player boasting about his holidays, particularly after such an underwhelming campaign.
