Former Norway international Jan Aage Fjortoft makes several good points when issuing a fresh list of challenges to Manchester United midfielder.
The ex-Middlesbrough front man reacted to comments made by Pogba to drive a summer transfer from United – with Real Madrid and Juventus most prominent among his suitors – by saying that this “could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else,” as reported by BBC Sport.

Aage Fjortoft has given Pogba several challenges – all of which I think United fans will fully back (see tweet below)…
Paul Pogba wants a “new challenge”
Well, I give him some:
1. Try to become a leader
2. Don’t just act as a World Champion outside the pitch. Do it on the pitch
3. Get Man UTD back amongst the best in England
4. Justify your current wage, before demanding more money— Jan Aage Fjortoft 🏳️🌈 (@JanAageFjortoft) June 18, 2019
Thoughts on each challenge
Try to become a leader
I’ve seen very little in terms of leadership qualities from Pogba during his time at United to suggest he can shoulder such responsibly.
Don’t just act as a World Champions outside the pitch. Do it on the pitch
Isn’t this the problem with a lot of footballers nowadays. He’s too busy telling us all about his World Cup success – almost a year since the achievement was accomplished, when he should be looking to add to his resume!
Get United back amongst the best in England
Pogba doesn’t want to do that. He doesn’t care about United as much as he tricks people into thinking he does. Very sad, but let’s call a spade a spade.
Justify your current wage, before demanding more money
Heh. Where should I start with this one? Mino Raiola ready to jump to his rescue no doubt…
