Reds told how much Wan-Bissaka will cost; Palace make contact with possible replacement

Sky Sports reported Dharmesh Sheth says Manchester United will need to spend £50m if they are to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

And everyone feels right now that it’s only a matter of time before an agreement is made between United and Crystal Palace.

“It should be made clear that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is Man United’s first option,” Sketh told Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast.

“They’ve had one bid rejected already. We expect them to go in with another bid.

“I’ve spoken to someone close to the deal. Palace will only consider a deal upwards of £50m. Significantly, Wan-Bissaka would want the move,”

Now is the time to start getting excited as long as the Red Devils don’t allow the transfer to drag on another few weeks.

Pre-season is only around the corner and to give the young Englishman the best chance to impress early on, he should be trying to start when the rest of his potential future teammates regroup at Carrington.

The Palace right-back will be such an improvement on Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia, with the latter set to leave the club on a free.

While the capture of Wan-Bissaka could spell a sorry future for young Diogo Dalot, but the young Portuguese star should chance his arm as a wing back. He likes to get forward and could have Wan-Bissaka as support behind him to carry out defensive duties.

Moreover, the Eagles have ‘made contact’ with Belgium international Timothy Castagne in the event that Wan-Bissaka leaves the club, according to the Guardian.
