Manchester United emerge as resounding favourites to complete a deal to sign Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The 21-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance for England, could cost the Red Devils around £50m for his signature this summer, as reported by The Sun.
Sky Bet and other bookies have United placed as clear favourites for Wan-Bissaka’s next club, as seen below along with the other clubs people have backed to sign the Palace youngster.
Bayern Munich: 25/1
While it is a lot of money to pay out on a relatively unproven star, Wan-Bissaka has the potential to be United’s right-back for the next 8-10 years. The hefty price could be turned into a smart investment yet.
United have always paid premium for their players. Other clubs know we’ve got tons of money and have spent stupidly in the past, so they’re bound to try strike gold whenever we come knocking for one of their players.
Sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and pay their asking price.
