Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian.
The 29-year-old has had a nightmare spell at Old Trafford but initially broke onto the scene at Old Trafford with plenty of promise.

Signed by Louis van Gaal in 2015, the Italian looked a great signing in the first few months and made 39 appearances in the season that followed his Torino exit, although since then we’ve seen very little of Darmian.
For everybody involved, we are hopeful Darmian finds a new club this summer and can get back to playing regular football again. United hardly want to keep an unwanted player on their books anyway!
According to Calciomercato (H/t newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport) it’s reported that Lazio could make a move for Darmian this summer.
The only potential problem is he’s a second option behind Malaga’s Jony.
Darmian should be aiming to get back into the Italy squad if he gets a transfer this summer. It’s misfortunate how his career nosedived after joining the Red Devils.
United are currently on the lookout for a right-back in the transfer market, which should give Darmian a bonus reason to leave Old Trafford this summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer allegedly wants to sign Crystal Palace starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the Daily Star citing a report on a contract agreement between the club and player.
