Former Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has revealed he gets regularly asked about returning to Old Trafford – and he was careful enough not to rule out the possibility.
Zaha became Sir Alex Ferguson’s last signing in 2013, when he was immediately loaned back to Crystal Palace to help the Eagles with their promotion bid from the Championship. He had an incredible season in the second tier of English football and we all had reason to be excited about his arrival, but the big move didn’t go to plan, with Zaha making just four appearances in a United shirt.

But he has since gone on to establish himself as a key player for Palace in the Premier League.
The return to Selhurst Park in 2015 was the right move. Back to basics for the winger and he’s worked hard and probably deserves another shot at one of the big clubs.
His form last season even promoted fans to question Zaha if he will ever return to Old Trafford.
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Zaha said: “I’m getting DMs [direct messages on Twitter: ‘Would you come back to Man Utd?’”
He didn’t shoot down the question when pushed on it either, so fans who want Zaha back may take encouragement from that, though he seems happy at Palace.
The Palace winger replied: “Oh really? I was in a bad place then. But I’m good now.”
Because Zaha is now a renowned Premier League star, we’d definitely have to pay big bucks for his signature.
And, considering how his last spell at the club went, it would be a major risk.
One you could argue is worth taking…
