Lille midfielder Exaucé Mpembele is a target for a host of clubs including Manchester United, according to reports.
Belgian outlet DH claim United will face competition from City to secure the 17-year-old striker’s signature.
He recorded an incredible 35 goals across all competitions last season, as he turned out for Lille’s U17 and U19 sides.
Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and RB Salzburg are also said to be targeting the teenager.
But Mpembele isn’t the only youngster from abroad being linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Monaco midfielder Hannibal Mejbri, 16, has a “huge contract offer” from United, according to RMC Sport reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi.
Bouhafsi’s tweet below states that the Reds “want to sign” Mejbri.
The #Mejbri saga continues.
The Mejbri family and #Monaco will meet the LFP today for a new hearing and a potential conciliation agreement with the player desiring to break his contract. Mejbri has a huge contract offer from @ManUtd who want to sign him!
