Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to offer Croatia international Ivan Perisic to Manchester United in exchange for Romelu Lukaku.
The Italian club are seemingly willing to throw in a sizeable fee, but has the ship sailed for Perisic and United?

It was long known that José Mourinho was interested in signing the Inter winger, even if it meant sacrificing Anthony Martial by selling the Frenchman.
Perisic got a number of United fans excited last summer when Croatia reached the final of the World Cup, only to lose to France, but he played a key role in their campaign. His performances shouldn’t go unnoticed.
Lukaku, on the the other hand, endured a disappointing season, contributing just 12 goals (15 across all competitions) in 32 Premier League matches.
United then slumped to sixth-place in the league standings.
However, Lukaku admitted back in April that he would be open to a Serie A switch, as per Sky Sports, so there’s a possibility he could end up at Inter this summer.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter are willing to offer £30 million plus Perisic for the out-of-form striker during this summer.
Perisic’s stats aren’t much better as he’s managed to score nine goals in 43 appearances this term.
United would be better off signing younger players to do the job Perisic might not be able to do in the Premier League. I wonder if we could strike a deal including Lukaku for Milan Skriniar?
Now he’s a player from Inter I’d like to see at Old Trafford.
