Paul Pogba’s visa issue could see star miss Man Utd pre-season tour, amid transfer speculation

Paul Pogba has refused to complete visa documentation for Manchester United’s pre-season trip to Asia, according to The Sun.

This comes a week after another report from The Sun claimed that Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, had cancelled a meeting with United over a new deal for the French midfielder.

Moreover, Sky Sports ran a story on Friday suggesting that Real Madrid are confident of landing Pogba and Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard this summer.

Kudos to the Evening Standard, who have provided more accurate reasoning for the issues over Pogba obtaining a visa. It is reported via club sources that the reason why Pogba didn’t hand over his passport this week to the Chinese Consulate was due to ‘passport issues’.

While we may think Pogba could be off in the summer, you can be sure about a saga dragging on and doing our heads in. He doesn’t look like someone focused on United and his performance are often lackadaisical.

It’s infuriating because we know Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world. His numbers in front of goal this season is proof of that, but why don’t we see the Frenchman have more of an influence on big games.

The initial report from The Sun also suggests that Pogba may be causing a bit of trouble at United.

They claim he doesn’t think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right man for the job.
