Mexico World Cup star Hirving Lozano has asked fellow countryman Javier Hernandez about playing for Manchester United, amid speculation that suggests the PSV Eindhoven winger could be a transfer target for the Premier League giants.
The Reds are said to be long-term admirers of the 23-year-old, who is versatile enough to play in several attacking positions, including the right wing.
Unfortunately for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United don’t have a specialist right winger and have been forced into makeweight options, such as Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and even Diogo Dalot.
But now TeamTalk claim to have spoken to a source close to Lozano, who said: “Hirving wants to join United, joining them is as big as a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona to him – he has spoken to Chicharito about what it’s like to play in Manchester, and Javier could not be kinder about his former club and told Hirving to push hard.”

Although most of what I have seen of Lozano came during the World Cup last year, the Mexican looks like he would offer a lot more than Alexis Sanchez has since joining United from Arsenal.
The Reds are sorted on the left with Anthony Martial, but this shows a lack of balance and how predictable United are.
Meanwhile, United have also been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho, as per The Independent, suggesting that Solskjaer wants to bring in a top class right winger to bolster his attack ahead of next season.
TeamTalk believes Lozano has a £30 million release clause.
