16-year-old announces he has joined Manchester United with Instagram post

It looks like Manchester United have completed the signing of Noam Emeran, after he posted on Instagram confirming his move to Old Trafford.

The 16-year-old first attracted the attention of United as he impressed at Amiens, and they’ve jumped to negotiate a deal with the French outfit.

These are exciting deals for United to be getting across the line. A talented academy increases your chances of developing more players for the first-team, and that is very much part of our DNA as a club.

As seen in his Instagram post, the youngster confirmed his move to United while posing with his family and showing his name off with the iconic no.7 shirt.

“Happy and proud to announce my signature in this great club and big Family which is Manchester United,” Emeran wrote on Instagram. “A bit thank you to my parents, to Badou my lawyer, my loved ones and the coaches (from Sannois, Ameins and INF) who have made me grow up to this day. This is the beginning of a new and great adventure if God wants it.”

United already have a bunch of exciting prospects in the academy looking to make that jump into the first-team. Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes are all making progress but the question is will they take the opportunity when it comes?
