Manchester United have been drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the first knockout round of this season’s Champions League.
As runners up in Group H, the Reds will play the first leg at home, travelling to the Parc des Princes in the second.
The feeling around the club right now is flat and nobody is giving us any real chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, but this a knockout competition so anything is possible.

PSG boast some incredible players like Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Marco Verratti with a rising manager in Thomas Tuchel, formerly of Borussia Dortmund.
The encounter also represents the return of chief snake, Angel Di Maria, who has got his career back on track since leaving Manchester for Paris, though the truth is he never wanted to come to Old Trafford in the first place but the club was more concerned about shirt sales. (What’s new?)
At this stage last season, we were given what many believed was a favoured draw against La Liga side Sevilla. But things didn’t go to plan — the second leg was perhaps the turning point of Mourinho’s underwhelming reign as United boss, and we were eliminated.
The Reds drew the first leg in Spain 0-0 and then lost 2-1 at Old Trafford to go out with Wissam Ben Yedder coming off the bench and scoring a brace.
Let’s hope we can put the record straight this year, albeit against much tougher opposition.
