Rashford starts in England’s UEFA Nations League clash against Croatia

Marcus Rashford starts for England against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.

If one of the teams lose today they will finish bottom of the group and face relegation to League B.

Spain currently top the group with six points but have played all of their games, whereas England and Croatia face off in the final group match with four points each.

A draw would be enough for England, who have a significant goal difference to the World Cup finalists.

United starlet Rashford tends to play better for his country and while we’d prefer it to be the opposite, it’s always nice to see one of our tear it up on the international stage too.

England have home advantage and Croatia are without Ivan Rakitic, so Gareth Southgate’s men should have enough to keep the Croatians at bay and top the group.

This will be seen as another milestone for Southgate on the back of a good World Cup for the Three Lions.

Best of luck, Rashford!
