Bournemouth vs Man Utd: Odds, preview, live stream, TV info, prediction

Bournemouth host Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.

We are 10 games into the 2018/19 campaign and the Reds are sat eight, trailing The Cherries by three points.

Eddie Howe not only has his Bournemouth side improving each year and climbing up the table, but he has them playing a fine brand of football and is willing to stick by his philosophy even against the bigger sides.

United, on the other hand, have not met expectations though manager Jose Mourinho has steadied the ship since the 3-1 away defeat to West Ham.

Date: Saturday, November 3.

Mourinho made a prediction in his pre-Everton programme notes last week. He believes his United side will be in a stronger position by the end of December, so a win away to Bournemouth is a must if the Reds plan to turn their season around.

Recent victories in the league over Newcastle and Everton have eased concerns over the manager’s future, as well as the 2-2 comeback draw at Stamford Bridge, but United really need a run of wins if they’re to finish in the top four at least.

According to Oddschecker, United are 11/10 favourites to win on Saturday. Our pick of the bets would be United to win in 90 minutes and Martial to score, priced at 7/2 with SkyBet.

United have struggled defensively this season, so the Cherries will look to exploit this area early on with their attacking players such as the in-form Ryan Fraser.

Though fans will hope players such as Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are at their best to blow Bournemouth away rather than worrying how they can hurt us. A win will see United equal on points with Howe’s side (20), but they currently have a significant goal difference (7+).

On our day, United would cruise past Bournemouth though nobody knows nowadays due to our consistency frequently coming into question.

Mourinho confirmed on Friday that Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are available for selection again.

Let’s hope United show enough firepower going forward and concentration at the back to get a much-needed win at Vitality Stadium.

Scoreline prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 Manchester United
