Axel Tuanzebe re-joined Championship side Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United this past summer.
The England U21 international spent the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Villa from United, but his time under Steve Bruce was wasted by injuries.
Bruce brought Tuanzebe back but has since been sacked as manager. That saw Dean Smith handed the job with John Terry appointed as his assistant manager, a vastly experienced defender who Tuanzebe will enjoy learning from.
Villa manager Smith has already praised Tuanzebe, admitting he is a big prospect.
Speaking to Villa’s official website about Tuanzebe, Smith said: “He has got great pace, he is a big prospect. I have known of him anyway playing through the junior ranks at England and watching his progression through that, and he looks a good player.”
With 10 appearances under his belt in the Championship thus far this season, as per WhoScored, he is getting valuable first-team experience and that will prove beneficial when he returns to Old Trafford next summer.
Hopefully, we see more dominant displays from Tuanzebe this season.

Extremely exciting to think Terry just became assistant manager and Axel played both games at CB, playing almost a whole season for Aston Villa learning from Terry will be so good for his development! pic.twitter.com/a63FwWWMxd
