Marcus Rashford has just doubled England’s lead over Spain in their UEFA Nations League match.
A win tonight – away from home – would be quite a statement for Gareth Southgate’s men.
It should also be seen as a statement from young Rashford. The Manchester United forward has received lots of criticism of late for not taking his chances, but thankfully for the Three Lions that is not the case tonight.
England’s opener came through Raheem Sterling, who was assisted through a wonderful through ball by Rashford, running through on the left flank.
While Rashford was involved in both goals, we have no doubt someone will have something negative to saw about his performance.
