Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand reacted to Alexis Sanchez’s dramatic later winner against Newcastle in spectacular fashion whilst covering the game for BT Sport. In the same manner any true Red would.
The occasion itself was monumental with Jose Mourinho’s role as Manchester United hanging on the edge of a cliff, though the fans in attendance were in full support of the boss throughout the game.

Ferdinand couldn’t contain his excitement when United forced a comeback, coming from 2-0 down to beat Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle 3-2.
This was a statement from the players, who have been criticised by many for not playing for their manager.
United’s next game is away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. There can be no doubt about Mourinho taking to the dugout after today’s incredibly important win.
