Memphis Depay contributed to Lyon’s win over Manchester City in their Champions League clash at the Etihad on Wednesday night and the former Manchester United man enjoyed every minute of it.
The French outfit weren’t tipped by many to take all three points from City away from home, but they did that with a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from Maxwel Cornet and Nabil Fekir.
Depart started up front for the visitors and although he didn’t get his name on the scoresheet, he was a threat at times and did hit the post with an effort in the second half as well as assist one of the goals.

Happy with the win, Memphis took to Instagram an posted the video and caption, below, which will undoubtedly bring a smile to Reds worldwide.
The 24-year-old didn’t have the greatest of spells at Old Trafford but appears to have turned a corner in his career since joining Lyon.
