Where Man Utd rank among favourites for 2018/19 Champions League – Bookmakers Odds

Another Champions League gets underway on Tuesday afternoon, but Manchester United don’t kick-off on their campaign until Wednesday night against Swiss side Young Boys.

This season’s edition sees Real Madrid going for a remarkable fourth trophy in a row, while United will be hoping to make more of an impression than last season after being eliminated by Sevilla in the Round of 16.

Premier League champions Manchester City are being backed to finally get their hands on Europe’s most prestigious competition after two unsuccessful Champions League campaigns under Pep Guardiola, who hasn’t won the tournament since 2011 when Barcelona beat United at Wembley.

United’s group also consists of Valencia and Juventus meaning Cristiano Ronaldo will be making a return to Old Trafford for the second time since leaving the club for Real Madrid in 2009.
