Former Man Utd player advises club to get rid of Pogba this summer

Due to a lack of investment, this summer, Manchester United’s current squad already looks a bit thin on the ground as it is and there is already talk of the club selling more players.

As per TalkSport, pundit and former United player Alan Brazil has advised the club to sell Paul Pogba, amid reports that the Frenchman is eager to leave Old Trafford before this month’s transfer deadline.

With the Premier League transfer window closed early this year, United would be unable to sign a replacement for Pogba if Jose Mourinho was to allow his midfielder leave.

Brazil has given his say on the Pogba situation at Old Trafford, saying that: “I think Jose is right to say, ‘look, you’re annoying the dressing room, you’re annoying me, if you don’t like it, see you later’. It’s best to get rid and I think that may strengthen Man United.”

The Daily Mail has reported recently that the player is keen to leave Mourinho’s side this summer, and that he’s eager to join Barcelona in the process. Of course, it is possible that a deal could still go through considering the transfer window is still open for La Liga clubs until August 31.

Losing Pogba at this stage of the season would be a huge blow for the club, as United look to close in on last season’s 19 point gap with rivals Manchester City.

Only time will tell if United end up letting Pogba leave, though we have told you on a number of occasions that he’s going nowhere this month.
