Done Deal: Man Utd striker completes loan move to Aberdeen

James Wilson has sealed a loan move to Scottish side Aberdeen for the rest of the season.

The Dons have won the race for the signature of the 22-year-old, who played for United’s U23s at Fulham on Friday night.

Wilson, who scored twice on his senior debut for the Reds against Hull City in 2014, will aim to show his goal-scoring instinct north of the border.

This is the fourth loan spell of Wilson’s career, after previous stints with Brighton, Derby County and Sheffield United.

He has been really unlikely with injuries down the years and was overlooked by Jose Mourinho for younger talent when the boss named his squad for this summer’s pre-season tour.

Sadly, that suggested Wilson is not part of Mourinho’s plans but who knows what could happen if his upcoming loan spell is successful?

We would like to wish Wilson the very best this season with Aberdeen.
