Manchester United could be looking to dip into the transfer market once more and make an unexpected move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The 27-year-old joined Arsenal in 2008 and since gone on to make 234 appearances for the Gunners, recording 36 goals.
We have continuously been linked with Ramsey down the years. His passing range is up there with the very best, however, he has struggled to produce the goods on a consistent basis.

According to the Daily Star, new Arsenal boss Unai Emery has already said that he sees Ramsey as central to his plans for the new season, even though the midfielder has yet to put pen to paper on a contract extension with the club.
The report states that football finance expert Kieran Maguire believes this could open the door for United to sign Ramsey, by suggesting he could fit into Mourinho’s system at Old Trafford perfectly.
“I think he could fetch £30m,” said Maguire.
“Mourinho was prepared to pay around £45m for Sanchez in the last year of his contract.
“It’s fair to say Ramsey isn’t in that same category but he is in the prime of his career and he’s good for scoring goals from midfield.
“Especially with United preferring to play one up front, that’s absolutely essential.”
It’s hard to see this happening this late in the transfer window as there’s nothing to suggest this from other sources in the media.
Arsenal are not going to sell a key player like Ramsey this late in the transfer window regardless of his contract situation, with the Premier League deadline set for 6 days’ time.
Should Mourinho decide to move for the Welsh star it would be the second time this year Arsenal have sold a key player to us, after Alexis Sanchez swapped North London for Manchester back in January.
