The news comes from Nicolò Schira, a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport, who believes United are one of a number of clubs chasing the young midfielder. It was then translated by our friends over at Sport Witness.
Agoume currently plays for FC Sochaux’s U19s in France and has been described as the journalist as the ‘new Pogba’. However, we’re not sure if that means he has incredible potential or is massively inconsistent.
Jokes aside, United are allegedly joined by Barcelona and Inter Milan in the race for his signature.
This is the first we’ve heard of the player and hasn’t been linked with United before. Stay tuned as we’ll be following up on this report if anything comes our way.
