Man Utd to include Martial in deal to sign European superstar

Manchester United are set to evaluate Kylian Mbappe’s situation as Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be backing out of a deal to sign the player permanently from Monaco due to Financial Fair Play concerns.

It is thought that United are prepared to include Anthony Martial in their bid to sign Mbappe for PSG.

Jose Mourinho is in the market for a new forward and is willing to offload Martial following the 22-year-old’s inconsistent campaign at Old Trafford.

Mbappe, meanwhile, was initially signed on loan from Monaco but PSG agreed to pay £166 million to acquire the forward on a permanent basis.

PSG had considered selling Mbappe this summer if they were found to break UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, but the European governing body cleared the French club earlier this month. Surprise, surprise!

According to the Sunday Mirror, United have already approached the striker’s representatives and are exploring the possibility of a summer move.

That could involve Martial to sweeten the deal by allowing a player they value at £80 million to return to France.

It was confirmed by Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley admitted that the forward wishes to leave Old Trafford this summer.
