Club president admits to holding ‘long discussions’ with Mourinho

Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has admitted to holding talks with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho with some fans speculating it has something to do with a potential transfer.

Mourinho has been reported to be interested in Tanguy NDombele, who is currently with the French club and it appears the rumours have more truth than we initially thought.

As I’m sure you’re aware at this stage, United get tagged to pretty much every footballer on the planet. It’s important we put the rubbish in one pile and separate it from genuine reporting.

It now seems NDombele may well be a target of Mourinho’s since Marouane Fellaini looks set to be leaving.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been strongly linked with Lyon star Nabil Fekir, as per The Mirror, so it will be interesting to see what the Ligue 1 outfit do this summer. Selling your best players is certainly one way to frustrate your fans.

It has yet to be revealed whether there was a breakthrough in these talks or not but time will tell either way.
