Italian daily newspaper Libero have reported on Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible move to Manchester United.
And, according to 101 Great Goals, this is a paper that usually steers clear of transfer gossip and football news.
The headline claims Ronaldo may make a return move to United after the 2018 World Cup.
Libero note that United are battling with Real Madrid over Ronaldo, with the paper tipping a return to Old Trafford to join forces with Jose Mourinho.

Paris Saint-Germain are supposedly the other notable challengers for Ronaldo’s signature, but Real Madrid’s focus seems to be less on Ronaldo and more on signing AS Roma shot-stopper Alisson.
There has been non-stop stories linking Ronaldo with a move from the Santiago Bernabeu ever since the Champions League final.
In Portugal, reports have accused Florentino Perez of having told Jorge Mendes and Ronaldo that he will get a significant pay raise, yet no such agreement has been finalised leaving the player in a strop.
I have no doubt I’ll be covering this exact same story a year on from now.
