Real Madrid confident of landing £100m rated Man Utd star

Real Madrid are reportedly confident in signing David de Gea from Manchester United, so much that they’ve even got a valuation of him already.

How that is possible without negotiations taking place, I do not know but let’s go along with it to see how far it gets us…

The report in question suggests that Real Madrid know what is needed to get the deal done, despite United clearly unwilling to let their best player leave this summer.

In fact, not only is De Gea currently the best player at Old Trafford, he’s the best goalkeeper in the world and there’s no shot-stopper that stands in his way.

According to the Metro, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has openly discussed making De Gea the world’s first £100 million goalkeeper and values him as such.

Still, even though that is a ridiculous amount of player, although a fair valuation of De Gea in today’s market, I still don’t want to lose our favourite Spaniard.

Since joining United in 2011 from Atletico Madrid, De Gea has won a Premier League title, an FA Cup, a League Cup, three Community Shields and the UEFA Europa League. He may be looking at Real Madrid thinking of all the Champions League he’d have lifted.
