£195m Man Utd target snubs Bayern Munich for potential Premier League switch

Manchester United look to have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

The Wales superstar is said to have held talks with Bayern Munich but told the Bundesliga giants his preference is for a move to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.

Bale would offer United spark as we lack inspiration in attack, with Jose Mourinho yet to get the best out of Alexis Sanchez, who joined from Arsenal at the beginning of the year.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have blown hot and cold, so something has to give if United are looking to run Manchester City closer to the Premier League title next season.

Stretty News understands that United have had two bids rejected for Bale since he moved to Real Madrid in September 2013.

The 28-year-old has had his difficulties at the Bernabeu but showed in the Champions League final that he remains one of the world’s very best, and the best belong at United.

Don Balon claim Los Blancos want as much as £195 million for Bale, who, considering his age is probably worth around £100 million at most.

Bale deserves to be playing week in week out. At United, that is far more achievable.
