Real Madrid’s pursuit of David de Gea could be a thing of the past.
Ever since the Spaniard established himself as the best goalkeeper in the world, Los Blancos have chased De Gea in hope of securing his signature.

There was the famous fax machine mishap which prevented De Gea’s move to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2015, which occurred on Deadline Day.
But since then, each year brings the same fear for us Reds, the fear of losing our most important player. Thankfully, a recent report from France’s RMC Sport suggests that Madrid are done with trying to sign De Gea and will instead switch their to Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, which talks already underway between the club and the Brazilian’s representatives.
This also comes as good news to Chelsea fans, who have featured Madrid knocking on their door for Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois, as per the Telegraph.
Jose Mourinho has already said there’s ‘no chance’ De Gea will leave Old Trafford this summer, with talks underway of a new contract for the shot-stopper.
