Superstar prioritises Old Trafford switch

One minute it’s Paul Pogba wants to join Paris Saint-Germain to link up with Neymar, the next it’s Neymar wants to join Manchester United to join Pogba.

It’s a merry-go-round and I’m screaming all sorts in hope it stops soon but I’m wise enough to know it will drag on and on, and on, and on.

According to Don Balon, if Neymar decides to leave PSG in the future he would prioritise a move to Old Trafford. The Spanish website believes the only way Neymar will stay at PSG is if he wins the World Cup, knowing the Ballon d’Or award would follow.

Other than that — making it a real possibility — the Ligue 1 giants will lose their star man, should you believe their report that is.

The same story claims Neymar has told former teammate Lionel Messi about his plans, with United being his first choice destination. Funnily enough, it also states working under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City is another likelihood, as well as signing for Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid.

Neymar, 26, would be a nice addition if Ed Woodward could sprinkle some magic dust on PSG when they come knocking for Anthony Martial. Now, that’s a swap deal I would welcome.

This goes straight into the ridiculous story pile. I was surprised we got Alexis Sanchez but Neymar? That’s taking the biscuit.
