The red shirt, white shorts and black socks have been a tradition for some time but this kit, granted it’s legit, is certainly a new look.
Our friends at footyheadlines.com published photos of what they believe will be United’s home strip for next season with a gradient design and black shorts. It looks a bit Dennis the Menace to me…

Even though the shorts aren’t white, they haven’t got a ridiculous hoop pattern going on. The socks, however, take the biscuit with Adidas trying to make United out to be AC Milan lite.
This is what Twitter had to say about the leaked photos:
My god that looks shit

Those stripes are hideous. I agree with the training Top comment. This has been doing the rounds so much it must be genuine. Hope #adidas get enough negative feedback to change plan. #mufc🔴⚪⚫ not🔴⚫

Too drastic a change for me to believe this has been in any way signed off by the club. Black lines on the shirt, black shorts and red socks? Not a chance!

I’d prefer more traditional, but I do like that. It’s no worse than the 2-tone red one we had the other year. As always, I’m going to wait until they get officially unveiled, a bit like how I treat transfer rumours!
