First-time FIFA mums’ Premier League predictions

Having watched this I have changed my mind about Louis van Gaal deciding not to start David de Gea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

When two mums set out to play FIFA for the first time in attempt to predict this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, Spurs came away from Old Trafford with a 2-0 win.

The Lilywhites were gifted two own goals as de Gea played like a goalkeeper that could no longer give a toss, allowing the ball roll past him into the net.

The video conducted by is done in good taste is one that should go viral. Putting to the test the age-old saying that ‘Mother knows best’ – the sports betting brand had the two women that have never played a video game before in their lives, recreate the games that will be played across the opening weekend of the Premier League to eventually reach a set of predictions that possibly no-one in the world will have landed on.

The predictions are as follows:

Manchester United 0-2 Spurs, Bournemouth 0-0 Aston Villa, Norwich City 1-1 Crystal Palace, Everton 2-0 Watford, Leicester City 1-0 Sunderland, Chelsea 0-1 Swansea, Arsenal 1-0 West Ham, Newcastle 0-0 Southampton, Stoke City 1-0 Liverpool, West Brom 0-1 Manchester City.
