Evening kick off between Manchester United v Liverpool scheduled

On Thursday some of Manchester United’s opening fixtures were rescheduled with Sky Sports and BT Sports announcing what games they will show live.

The first game, at home to Tottenham Hotspur, kicks off of the Premier League campaign at 12:45pm, Saturday 8 August on BT Sports.

The trip to Villa Park has been brought forward 24 hours due to a planned protest march by the EDL (English Defence League). Due to the West Midlands Police focusing their resources, Aston Villa had no other choice.

Sky Sports will broadcast Aston Villa v Manchester United on Friday 14th August with the game kicking off at 7:45pm. The timing may clash with those working on that date but for anyone lucky enough to get tickets in the ballot, it grants the opportunity to get another night in of beers and more malarky.

Also hitting the headlines is the update that United will host Liverpool at 5:30pm on Saturday 12th September. The tie which is usually scheduled as an early kick off will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Keep an eye out for more updates about Manchester United’s 2015/16 calendar. The broadcasting companies will be filling us in throughout the season.
