United reportedly sent scouts to watch 5 La Liga stars

David Moyes is said to have sent scouts to watch La Liga stars from Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club Bilbao and Real Sociedad.

Moyes has not had the best start to his first season in charge United and constant rumours suggest he is still looking to find the right players to add to the squad in order to find consistent success.

Last summer was full of reports claiming that Manchester United were in pursuit of a new midfielder to lead the club, but after failed attempts to sign Thiago Alcantara, Cesc Fabregas and Ander Herrera, they were left with nothing.

However, it appears as though Moyes is still looking to add players to his squad this month as reports claim that United sent scouts to watch five players in Spain last weekend.

According to the reports, scouts checked out Atletico Madrid pair Diego Costa and Koke, Real Sociedad duo Inigo Martinez and Antoine Griezmann, and lastly Athletic Club Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera.

Ander Herrera has been very open about the fact that he does not want to leave his current club as has fellow Spanish midfielder Koke, however Manchester United apparently refuse to give up the idea of signing a new midfielder as soon as possible.
