What a day, eh?
That’s what football is all about, big games against the likes of Arsenal at Old Trafford with the crowd absolutely buzzing.
It was a fantastic day at Old Trafford as United took on table topping Arsenal in a clashed many predicted would end in a defeat for Moyes’ boys and an 11 point gap from Wenger’s team.
How wrong they were – following a first half in which United dominated, taking the lead through Robin van Persie’s expertly executed header, they then proceeded to defend resolutely and but had they not missed a few big opportunities, would have sealed the points earlier.
It was a fantastic team performance and although there are a lot of improvements to be made, it was a great day for Moyes and his team.
I run through my thoughts on what I saw; who were our best players, the title race and how we won the game.
