Rooney Might Take Part Against Wigan

Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney could play some part in this Saturday’s fixture against Wigan Athletic after manager Sir Alex Ferguson revealed today that he was back fit again.

That trip to New York must of payed off after the majority of fans felt he was only going there to visit Nike’s HQ, releasing one of their new products.

Ferguson spoke to Key103 radio station earlier and said that, Rooney won’t be starting the match Saturday but may have a position on the bench.

Rooney hasn’t played for United since injuring his ankle ahead of the Champions League clash against Turkish Champions Bursaspor.

With a new contract Manchester United fans will be hoping Rooney hits the net more often then he’s done since the World Cup in South Africa.
