Match Report: Manchester United 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

I’ve been looking forward to this match quite a while now because victory’s in games like this gives the squad more confidence and without confidence or belief you’re going no where, that’s pretty much a fact.

Club captain Nemanja Vidic got the red devils started with a superb header on the 31st minute of the match. The goal came from a free-kick took by Nani who looked lively for the whole 90 minutes.

Nani has become an important player for Manchester United after some fans wanted to see him leave this time last year, he’s really turned things around from himself and I’m delighted to see the effort he’s been putting in so far this season.

Our second goal will be remembered and talked about for many years to come, I’m still not quite sure what happened. After watching it plenty of times it looked like a penalty but it could of also of been a free kick to Spurs after Nani handled the ball but the referee never blew his whistle and Nani took advantage by taking the ball from a puzzled Gomes and slotted the ball into the back off the net which left Manchester United home and dry securing three points.

Unfortunately today’s game wont be remembered for the great football which was displayed but it will certainly be remembered for Manchester United’s bizarre winning goal.
