Match Report: Manchester United 1-0 Bursaspor

After a run of poor results a victory was more important then how many goals we would score against the Champions of the Turkish league, Bursaspor.

After the bad news that came out the day before kick off Ferguson wanted to get it of his chest so that his players could move on and hopefully start catching up on Chelsea who currently sit on top of the table with 19 points, 5 more then Manchester United.

We couldn’t of started the game any better with Nani scoring on the 7th minute from a superb strike outside the box. After this goal Bursaspor looked rattled and Manchester United were on top with a greater possession.

Manchester United didn’t play great but Bursaspor are a very poor side and we should really be beating teams like this 3-0 or more.

Macheda started up front by himself and failed to impress by losing the ball far to often in my opinion.

The atmosphere at the game was no more then ‘dead’, at half time you could hear some children counting down from 5 to 1 which is something you would never ever hear at Old Trafford.

Hard game on Sunday against Stoke City means the lads again will need another improvement in their performance in order for myself to write a positive ‘match report’ because I’ve had very few of those since the start of the season.
