Yesterday we witnessed another enthralling encounter between Manchester United and Liverpool. This match is the one I wait for every season, unfortunately it only comes around twice every year unless the two clubs get drawn against each other in domestic cups such as the FA Cup or Carling Cup. I nearly added the Champions League but forgot Liverpool only qualified for the Europa League!
Whenever your team plays big games like this I’m sure you get that feeling in your stomach that never seems to go away until the final whistle has blown. I don’t think I’m unique when it comes to this, it just shows I care about our team.
Berbatov was just class yesterday, he was every where we needed him to be. His (Berbatov) three goals were a just reward after his fantastic performance.
Even though we can walk away happy with the victory its very important that our defence improves after Liverpool became the third team this season coming back level after being behind! I get this worrying feeling whenever John O’Shea gets the ball, I wouldn’t think that I’m the only person but he never looks comfortable when he’s on the ball.
Steven Gerrard got Liverpool’s two goals but what is the deal with kissing the camera? I’d say something if it was a winning goal but maybe it’s a big thing scoring against a big club being an average player!
