Rooney Back For Clash In Aviva Stadium

Wayne Rooney looks to be in line to face Aircity League XI in the very first football match in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on the 4th of Augest. Ferguson has also confirmed that other players that took part in the World Cup could come and take part in the friendly.

Ferguson said: “They have a chance of playing in that. It depends on their progress when they come back on 28 July.”

Most of the Manchester United players from the World Cup will be hungry for success next season seeing that none of their country’s did great in the campaign which was held in South Africa.
