Transfer Update: Anthony Martial exit talk grows with agreement edging closer

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal to allow out-of-favour attacker Anthony Martial to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Martial, who put in a pathetic shift against Brighton on Friday night, has his section of support that can’t see him do any wrong, but it appears evident that the boss, Jose Mourinho, doesn’t completely fancy the striker.

The former Monaco forward has seen a reduction in game time since the January arrival of Alexis Sanchez, and Juventus are allegedly offering him an escape route, as per the Guardian.

While early reports, via the Express, suggested the winger was considering a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, that now appears unlikely, and some media outlets even claim Martial’s situation is being closely monitored by Premier League rivals Chelsea.

But according to Tuttorsport, as per the Mirror, Mourinho has agreed a deal with Serie A giants Juventus for the player.

If United are to let Martial go this summer, and Juventus are the club he ends up at, wouldn’t it make sense to arrange a deal that benefits United or satisfies both parties?

I’d suggest requesting Paulo Dybala be part of the deal or Alex Sandro given United’s need for better full-backs next season.
