El Tigre and Rojo set to return for Hull encounter

Radamel Falcao and Marcos Rojo are both set to return in time for Manchester United’s home fixture against a struggling Hull City side.

Match Preview: United vs Hull City

Without a win in their previous 5 outings, Hull City have picked up 2 respectful draws on the run against Liverpool and Arsenal. Steve Bruce’s side will be coming to Old Trafford hoping to showcase a surprise upset.

United have had a nightmare on the injury front all season but the return of Falcao and Rojo will ease the situation as long as others don’t join the list in quick succession.

The South American duo will be looking to return and hit the ground running as the current United side looks to pick up a run of wins and put pressure on competitors for a spot in the top four. A win over Arsenal at the Emirates should have spirits higher than ever this season when you consider our away form of late.

Speaking in front of the press on Friday, Louis van Gaal said:

“We have to wait and see in the last training session. Of course, it’s always difficult to say, but we have good news, yes.

“I have to take the last training session and I live day by day at this moment. Maybe Falcao can come into the 18 and maybe Rojo can come into the 18. That’s it, I think.”

Hopefully we see a different front man in the starting eleven tomorrow. Robin van Persie has not been performing and James Wilson needs more opportunities. Of course, that applies only if our Colombian striker is not yet 100%.

Rojo’s return will be welcomed with open arms. Before dislocating his shoulder in the Manchester derby he was starting to find his footing in English football but bad luck struck.
