Ander Herrera is always in good spirits. The Manchester United midfielder is popular among his teammates, and always has a smile on his face when he’s not trying to kick seven shades of shit out of opponents.
After a summer holiday in Spain, Herrera has sent a challenge to a trio of United goalkeepers.
The Spain international posted a video of him making a superb diving save, with the following message: “Hi @d_degeaofficia, #Chiqui and @joelpereira1, I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays but you should be a bit scared.”
Presumably, “#Chiqui” is what they call Argentine goalkeeper, Sergio Romero, who played in the Europa League final for Manchester United.”

Herrera has become a crucial member of Jose Mourinho’s side despite being a bit-part during Louis van Gaal’s reign as manager. He is now regarded as one of the club’s most improved players — along with Antonio Valencia, who former United boss Ron Atkinson wants to see as club captain.
As things stand, United are still on the lookout for a new midfield to partner Paul Pogba and Herrera. It is thought that Mourinho wants a defensive-minded player to unleash the other two, especially Pogba, to get the best out of the France international.
Rumours continue to abound of Nemanja Matic’s arrival. Should that happen, it is still hard to see how Herrera loses his place in the team.
