Three changes after triple fitness boost: Predicted Manchester United line-up to face Liverpool

Our predicted Manchester United line-up for this Sunday’s quarter-final FA Cup tie against Liverpool.

The Red Devils will be looking to continue on their quest for their only attainable form of silverware this term. They have been granted the luxuries of their home comforts and support, which will certainly aid the players when they’re trying to get over the line and overturn the in-form Merseyside outfit.

In terms of Erik ten Hag’s options for the clash, he’s been dealt fresh injury blows in the form of Jonny Evans and Altay Bayindir, although the latter was unlikely to feature anyway, given the manager’s preference for Andre Onana.

Long-term absentees Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Anthony Martial remain unavailable. There are hopes that the Argentine can make his long-awaited comeback following the international break.

On a more positive note, Ten Hag has been granted a triple fitness boost, with Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka expected to be fit in time to feature. The trio will presumably slot straight into the 11.

Predicted starting 11

Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Dalot, Mainoo, Casemiro, Garnacho, Fernandes (C), Rashford, Hojlund.
