Marcus Rashford features in three-man hitlist to replace Kylian Mbappe at PSG

Marcus Rashford will have an array of suitors in the summer if he leaves Manchester United.

The striker’s future has been in the media again since his recent night out in Belfast which saw him fined and left out of the squad for the FA Cup win over Newport County.

It is not understood that Rashford is actively seeking a move away from United, but Paris Saint-Germain have long been admirers and could make a move in the summer as they might seek a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

According to the i, Rashford is on a three-man hitlist along with the preferred Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Barcelona youngster Gavi.

PSG have always been interested in Rashford, but it makes sense that a move could come now that it looks like Mbappe will be signing for Real Madrid at the end of the season.

BBC are now reporting that Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid this summer. The PSG superstar has informed the club he is leaving with his contract expiring in June.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague said: “Mbappe has not signed a contact with Real yet, but the deal could be announced once it is no longer possible for the clubs to meet in this season’s Champions League.

“He is set to sign a five-year deal with Real, earning 15m euros (£12.8m) a season, plus a 150m euro (£128m) signing-on bonus to be paid over five years, and he will keep a percentage of his image rights.”
