Arturo Vidal has criticised Alejandro Garnacho for his celebration following a fantastic acrobatic strike against Everton.
The goal came just three minutes in the game to shock the home crowd, but Jordan Pickford was left picking the ball out of the net following an outstanding overhead kick.
It is already being referred to as the Premier League goal of the season because it will take something special to top it.
Former Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona midfielder Vidal questioned why the United star celebrated his goal in the same way as Cristiano Ronaldo and questioned the celebration.
Speaking on Twitch, as quoted by the Metro, Vidal said: “The only bad thing or what I didn’t understand is why he celebrates like Cristiano?
“He has to make his own name. He is an already great player. It’s good that he is his idol, respect for that, but then he has to make his name. How are you going to celebrate a goal and remember it? I don’t know, celebrate it another way. But it was a great goal, it was a great goal.”
Garnacho’s goal helped United goal three important points on the road.
The result came as an extra blow to Everton after being docked 10-points.
