Wayne Rooney welcomed a former teammate to his side’s MLS game on Saturday.
DC United took on the NY Red Bulls at the Audi Field Stadium last night and sustained a 5-3 loss, despite former Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke netting a hat-trick.
Rooney was then met with a familiar face from his playing days post-match when he linked up with former Manchester United defender Antonio Valencia.
The pair posed for a picture, which the Ecuadorian shared on his social media, to give the Old Trafford faithful a blast from the past.
