An evening with Nemanja Vidic – 23 September, Manchester

For the first time since his retirement, Nemanja Vidic will appear in Manchester in a live unscripted interview to chat about his incredible eight-years at Manchester United. I’ll be attending the event and it promises to be a night to remember the night before the Reds face Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Vidic signed for Manchester United in 2006 and quickly became a fans’ favourite with his tenacious tackling, no nonsense defending and his thrilling goals.

Although Vidic was quick to establish himself among the United faithful, his debut ended in a 4-3 defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

Find out how to get tickets here because an evening with Vidic is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal to a proper United legend.

The centre-back was 24-years-old when he joined United from Spartak Moscow for £7m midway through the 2005/06 campaign.

Vidic went on to win the Premier League five times, with a Champions League title thrown in on top of that, and he’s likely to make a joke about not benefiting from any of Ed Woodward’s wacky contract deals.

Hopefully we’ll see you there, along with Vida!
